Here's a list of our favorite restaurants of the moment. It is, of course, subjective. Given the quality of our Provençal cuisine, we're sure there are other equally excellent restaurants... Don't hesitate to suggest them to us, and we'll be happy to try them out!

In anticipation of these new culinary adventures, here are the addresses we like to visit regularly...

La Table de Sorgues,
12 km from l’Oréliane

A pretty 1930s-style maison de maître with a lovely shady garden, very pleasant in summer. The friendly chef and his wife offer gourmet, masterful cuisine, enhanced by a top-notch regional wine list. In our opinion, the value for money offered by this semi-gastronomic restaurant is unbeatable (market menu at €33). We love it every time. Please note: this restaurant is located in the heart of the town of Sorgues, in the Avignon belt, not in Isle sur la Sorgue.

Le Jardin du Quai, 9 km from l’Oréliane

On Isle sur la Sorgue, the setting for this delightful semi-gastronomic restaurant is idyllic, with its large, pretty, shady garden. With a single menu at 47€, you'll discover the savoir-faire of Chef Daniel Hébet and his brigade. The cuisine, local and seasonal, is succulent and magnified by the exemplary professionalism of the service. And if you add a few bubbles to the dessert, you'll have sparkling memories for life!

La Libellule, 10 km from l’Oréliane

Right in the heart of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, on one of the two shopping streets leading to the Collégiale Notre Dame des Anges, this restaurant offers original, seasonal and refined cuisine. The quality of the dishes on offer is truly remarkable for the price. It's very good, copious and well presented. The service is friendly and attentive, and everything served is explained, even the wine. The bill remains very reasonable, making this a value-for-money restaurant not to be missed.

La Balade des Saveurs,
11 km from l'Oréliane

Certainly one of the best restaurants on the banks of the Sorgue in Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. On each of our visits, we couldn't find a false note: everything is just right, the quality of the seasonal and local produce, the sauces, the herbs, the presentation, the flavours... Nothing is missing. For gourmets like us, this address is renowned for the excellence of its desserts. The €19.90 lunch menu defies all competition, and is the envy of so few higher menus. The welcome is meticulous, smiling, quick and friendly. We return regularly with pleasure.

Renaud’mets, 10 km from l’Oréliane

An attractive bistronomic address in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. Renaud, the chef, cut his teeth alongside Benjamin, the chef at Balade des saveurs. And both offer creative, sincere contemporary cuisine. Here, the dishes are delicate, the flavors balanced and mastered, the presentation meticulous, worthy of a Michelin-starred chef, and the service attentive. And given the quality and originality, the prices are very reasonable. We recommend the Partage d'émotions menu, with its assortment of 3 entrees and 3 desserts, so you can try everything! We can't get enough of it.

Le Riad, 15 km from l’Oréliane

A great address in Avignon at reasonable prices, well known to lovers of Moroccan cuisine, which we love! A warm, oriental decor in an 18th-century courtyard covered by an attractive glass roof. Hearty dishes, rich in flavors and aromas, served in refined crockery by very welcoming and friendly staff. As for desserts, the oriental pastries and mint tea are excellent. Try the milk and almond pastilla! We'll be delighted to talk about it again.

Le Bercail, 22 km from l’Oréliane

Located on Avignon's Barthelasse island, the setting of this restaurant is very pleasant, as is the walk that leads to it from the city center. We love the "guinguette" spirit of this place, its terrace on the banks of the Rhône and the view of the famous Avignon bridge. Traditional Provençal cuisine revisited, tasty wood-fired pizzas and great suggestions for aperitifs, such as the Provençal plank or the small fish fry. A lovely waterside atmosphere for meals with family and friends. We enjoy returning from time to time.

La Cour d’honneur, 19 km from l’Oréliane

A fine dining experience in the heart of the city of the Popes! Although this restaurant is right in the center of town, it's a peaceful, welcoming place thanks to its magnificent setting: a 16th-century frescoed building with a private courtyard garden. Simple, contemporary bistro-style cuisine. Dishes are made with high-quality, well-presented produce. All for a good price. A warm, lively little spot that we recommend.

Le Lieu, 14 km from l’Oréliane

This intimate venue, in a former convent, is an Avignon nugget on the rue des Teinturiers. Lost in a small inner courtyard of stone and vegetation, the place is magnificent, with its beautiful garden and originally decorated rooms. The inventive cuisine remains simple, and the dishes are generous and beautifully presented. French gastronomy as we like it. The staff are extremely kind and attentive. All in all, it's a place to try and approve of.

And here's a bonus, and not the least because we couldn't deprive you of knowing about this restaurant that sits atop our pretty little hilltop village of Chateauneuf-de-Gadagne:

La maison de Celou, 400m from our guest house !

It's a real pleasure to be able to find such a table just a few minutes from our guesthouse. The setting is magnificent, with a splendid view of the surrounding countryside from the terrace. The welcome is just as warm as the setting, with kindness and competence at the service of an excellent cuisine that moves between tradition and creation. The dishes are refined and the presentation meticulous. An enchanted interlude just a stone's throw from l'Oréliane, where we visit from time to time with our hosts. a real pleasure!
