Attractions and Activities

The possibilities for getaways are in fact so numerous that the hardest part will be choosing! Unless you decide, like many, to come back… again and again.
It is indeed our corner of paradise that welcomes the first resurgence in Europe, Fontaine de Vaucluse, the Giant of Provence, the proud Mont Ventoux, the so renowned Luberon Massif, the beautiful Episcopal City classified UNESCO, Avignon, the so pretty Venice of Comtat L’Isle sur la Sorgue, the Colorado Provençal and its Terres d’Ocre, the largest concentration of villages classified among the most beautiful in France… Among others.
Superb landscapes, picturesque villages and historical monuments, farms, wine estates and markets of Provence, festivals of all kinds… A particularly rich heritage and adapted to all desires.

Visit to the Palace of the Popes

Avignon is a city rich in tourist attractions! Here are some of the must-sees:

The Palais des Papes, an impressive historical monument that bears witness to the period when Avignon was the seat of the papacy.
The Pont d’Avignon, a medieval bridge famous for its song and its arches.
The Rocher des Doms, a public garden offering a panoramic view of the city and the Rhone.
Les Halles d’Avignon, a covered market where you can taste local and artisanal products.
The Festival d’Avignon, a renowned theater festival that takes place every year in July.

luberon

Vaucluse and Luberon

From the majestic silhouette of Mont Ventoux to the hilltop villages, from the flamboyant ochres of the Provençal Colorado to the lavender fields, from the Dentelles de Montmirail to the vineyards as far as the eye can see, from the dense cedar forests to the agricultural plains, from the ridges of the Monts de Vaucluse to this magnificent emerald green river that is our Sorgue…
No really, every corner of our little corner of Provence offers a unique experience.
The Regional Natural Parks deployed in the Luberon, the Monts de Vaucluse and the Ventoux offer a fauna and flora of great richness.

les alpilles

Les Alpilles

A 30-minute drive from Gadagne
The authenticity of the Alpilles mountain range, classified as a Regional Natural Park, really offers a great setting for lovers of unspoiled nature… And others!

Impressive limestone cliffs, numerous trails to explore, lush olive groves (no need to introduce the excellent olive oil from the Vallée des Baux), charming little lively villages…

arles et la camargue

Arles and Camargue

45 minutes away The Camargue… Do we really need to introduce it to you?
A wild, unspoiled, unique land… Largely classified as a Natural Park (national and regional), known for its seaside (we love the Saintes Maries de la Mer), its vast salt marshes, its horses, its bulls and “of course”, its pink flamingos.
When you go to the Camargue, the essential stop is the old town of Arles which, long before us, has seduced many artists, starting with Van Gogh. Excuse us for the little!
A marked route is also dedicated to it: marked route in the footsteps of Van Gogh in Arles
pont du gard

Uzes and the Pont du Gard

45 minutes away, Uzès is sometimes nicknamed “Tuscany”.
A walk through its old town and its cobbled streets allows you to understand why. It is a small town full of charm, which in addition to its medieval aspect and its architecture, offers a form of Dolce Vita and a rare dynamism for a town of this size, with many events of all styles throughout the year.
Additional argument: the proximity of the Pont du Gard, an exceptional site, classified as a UNESCO world heritage site.
la cote bleue

La côtes bleue

1h15 from Châteauneuf de Gadagne, our village

Between Marseille and Martigues, the Côte Bleue is a well-preserved coastline… And above all, the closest to home and in our eyes, the most beautiful. That’s good, right?

Steep cliffs, wild coves, small villages that are still authentic…
Idleness, swimming, hiking on the many coastal paths, water sports, sardines and sea urchins, there are plenty of reasons to go there!
